Prior to Bridge Consulting’s engagement, our client was facing pressure from industry deregulation, intensified competition from foreign players, and a significant drop in margin.
It quickly realized the need for cost-cutting and asset optimization in order to improve product margin. At the same time, it also required a revision to its strategic directions both in terms of market expansion and secured sources of supply for long-term sustainability.

Bridge Consulting conducted internal and external analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, such as plant relocation, logistics optimization. We also facilitated brainstorming sessions with top executives to define the future direction of the company.
With a sophisticated scenario-based economic model, the executive team was able to make important strategic decisions from the fact-based analysis.
The result was clearer directions for our client where specific action plans were outlined for each department to execute in order to realize the strategies. The cost-saving initiatives were estimated to generate an NPV of THB 500Mn.
