ENHANCE INVESTMENT ANALYSIS CAPABILITY ACROSS SUBSIDIARIES
CLIENT OVERVIEW
Our client is one of the largest conglomerates in the automotive industry with total annual revenue of over USD 500Mn.
CLIENT'S BUSINESS CHALLENGE
Prior to Bridge Consulting’s engagement, our client did not have a standard, objective tool and process to evaluate investment proposals from several of its subsidiaries. Each subsidiary implemented its own approach of analyzing and proposing investments. This resulted in inconsistent cash flow assumptions, and insufficient detail for executives to further evaluate and prioritize investments.
With approximately USD 60Mn in capital expenditure each year, this resulted in a sub-optimal investment performance in several of its large investment projects.

BRIDGE CONSULTING'S ROLES
Bridge Consulting developed investment analysis models for different investment types for all subsidiaries across the conglomerate, including the provision of intensive training in corporate finance, investment analysis, value-based management, and uses of various tools and frameworks to enhance the quality of investment proposals.
