Our client is one of the largest commercial banks in Thailand, listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, with assets approximately over THB 800Bn.

CLIENT'S BUSINESS CHALLENGE

Prior to Bridge Consulting’s engagement, our client bases performance measurement on traditional accounting measures (EBITDA, ROA, Net Income) which are not reflective of shareholder value creation.

Additionally, there is a gap for improvement in the strategic planning process which involves crafting strategic planning and action plan, and aligning financial targets with the incentive system.


BRIDGE CONSULTING'S ROLES

Bridge Consulting works with corporate planning and the finance team to assist our client in implementing risk-based strategic planning and performance measurement, including Economic Profit and RAROC. This includes external/internal analysis, and holding several workshops with senior management in developing a new corporate strategy and economic profit projection.


PROJECT OUTCOME

The project has helped our client realign all key management activities towards increasing shareholder wealth, and portfolio risk level. The clearly defined strategy is executed as planned.
